Wedding Showcase 2009

We'd like to invite everyone to come visit us on Sunday, January 25th at the Northwoods Crossing Event Center in Siren, WI at booth 13 for Wedding Showcase 2009. The show goes from 11am to 4pm. The event center is located behind Maddens Steakhouse on the southwest corner at the intersection of State Hwy 35 and 70 in town. Hope to see you there!

Kasmira & Brandon - Wedding | Duluth, MN

First wedding of 2009! Kasmira and Brandon had a wonderful ceremony lit with white lights and candles. There were threats of a blizzard, so that kept us inside, but we managed one outdoor picture before the cold and wind drove us back inside. Here are some quick pics from the day. More to come!

2008 year in review...

Merry Christmas! As we approach the new year, I thought it would be a good time to dig through the stack and pick out a few favorites from our weddings and portrait session from 2008. It was a busy year for us at Carr Photography, and 2009 is shaping up to be even more busy. These are just a few of my favorites from the year, some because they turned out exactly as I envisioned them in my head, and some because of a happy series of events combined at just the right moment. I tried to select pictures that I haven't published on the blog already, but a couple may have been posted before.

Quick portrait session...

Caroline, Mike and John needed to replace a picture of the three of them hanging in their parents living room which was taken a few years ago. It needed updating, but they also wanted something a little less "JC Penney-ish" (their words) and more laid back. We did this super quick, probably 10 minutes from start to finish.
