Emily & Eric - Wedding | Grand Superior Lodge

We headed up once again to Grand Superior Lodge for Emily and Eric's wedding.  They were suppose to have an outdoor ceremony, but the weather didn't cooperate.  We did brave the wind and rain though and headed up to Gooseberry Falls for a few pictures.  Emily and Eric were great to work with and their wedding and reception were beautiful.  Click through to see more images of their wedding day!

Kacy & Matt - Wedding | Grand Superior Lodge

It was a foggy day for Kacy and Matt's wedding at Grand Superior Lodge, but we had enough of a break from the rain to get outside for pictures and the beautiful outdoor ceremony went on as planned.  We made it to Gooseberry Falls for a few pictures, the water was rushing that day.  After the ceremony it was time for dinner and dancing.  Here's a few pictures from their wedding day!

Julie & Mike - Wedding | Grand Superior Lodge, Two Harbors, MN

The weather was perfect for Julie and Mike's wedding day at Grand Superior Lodge on the north shore of Lake Superior.  You may recall their engagement session last fall in Minneapolis.  Being the perfect day it was, there was a pretty good crowd at Gooseberry Falls, but due to impeccable timing we managed to get some great shots with no stray people in the background.  After the ceremony back at the lodge there was a bit of downtime to relax and get a few shots and then it was time for dinner and dancing.  The dance floor was full and it was quite a party.  Here are a few shots from the day:

Katelyn & Jeremy - Wedding | Grand Superior Lodge, Two Harbors, MN

This wedding day started out very foggy and looking like it was going to rain, but as you can tell it cleared up beautifully in the afternoon.  Katelyn and Jeremy's wedding ceremony and reception were held at Grand Superior Lodge and before the ceremony we had time to run up to Gooseberry Falls for some pictures.  The evening shots by the lake are some of my favorites.

Randi & Mark - Wedding | Gooseberry Falls

I'm not going to say that if we photograph your outdoor wedding, you'll be guaranteed to have great weather, but I will say, we have an excellent record. :-) Randi and Mark were married right on the shore of (and from some angles, actually in) Lake Superior in Gooseberry Falls State Park. We photographed Randi's sister's wedding a few years ago, and we were honored that Randi and Mark asked us to photograph their wedding day. We were able to get up to the falls for pictures, and then the rest of the night was dinner and dancing at the Grand Superior Lodge. Here's a few from their day:

Amanda & Tyson - Wedding | Grand Superior Lodge

There was so much photographic opportunities at this wedding. Amanda and Tyson met at the pier in Two Harbors. The ceremony was outdoors at Grand Superior Lodge. You really appreciate the phrase "cooler by the lake" on days like this one. After the ceremony, the wedding party headed up to Gooseberry Falls State Park for some more pictures. We seriously had an awesome time with Amanda, Tyson and their wedding party. So much fun! The reception and dance was a big party that kept going all night. Here's a few images from the day.
