Merry Christmas! As we approach the new year, I thought it would be a good time to dig through the stack and pick out a few favorites from our weddings and portrait session from 2008. It was a busy year for us at Carr Photography, and 2009 is shaping up to be even more busy. These are just a few of my favorites from the year, some because they turned out exactly as I envisioned them in my head, and some because of a happy series of events combined at just the right moment. I tried to select pictures that I haven't published on the blog already, but a couple may have been posted before.
Caroline, Mike and John needed to replace a picture of the three of them hanging in their parents living room which was taken a few years ago. It needed updating, but they also wanted something a little less "JC Penney-ish" (their words) and more laid back. We did this super quick, probably 10 minutes from start to finish.
We had some great fall color for Sara and Will's wedding. We took pictures in Enger Garden's, and while there weren't many flowers left, the leaves sure made up for it. We nearly were rained out, but it held off and the sun came out, and you can see the results below.
Megan and Brent's were married at the Gloria Dei Lutheran church in Redwood Falls, MN. They officially hold top honors in 2008 for largest wedding party, and coolest transportation from the ceremony. A Cadillac Eldorado convertable for the bride and groom, and a coach bus for the wedding party. Gorgeous weather and rockin' reception to boot.
