Sara & Erik - Anniversary | Bluefin Bay Resort

Sara and Erik celebrated their 10 year anniversary with a week on the north shore at Bluefin Bay Resort.  Kelly was there to get their pictures on the shore.  Here's a few from their session!

Tiffany & Nate - Trash the Dress | Saint Paul, MN

Our good friends and fellow photogs Tiffany and Nate of Tiffany Lynn Photography wanted to do a trash the dress/anniversary/we-didn't-get-great-wedding-pics type of session.  A lot of planning went into this and while we didn't end up in the mud, or water, or a completely spontaneous paint fight, we DID manage to rip Tiffany's dress, so we got the "trash the dress" part down.  This was probably one of the most fun photo sessions ever.

Macy

Macy and her mom wanted to give some pictures as a Christmas present this year, so we hiked up to one of her favorite spots for her session. Those of you who are getting these for Christmas, no peeking! Just move right along.

Sarah - Senior Session

Went out to Sarah's home for some senior pictures, which turned out to be a fantastic location. Plus the weather cooperated perfectly; beautiful sunny day and no wind. Summer has finally arrived! Here are some favorites from the session:

Tiffany & Nate | Duluth, MN

Tiffany and Nate wanted a fun portrait session, like an engagement session, but not, 'cause they're already married. :-) More couples should do this. They were great to work with and we were treated to a pretty dramatic sunset and even a rainbow. Here's a few from their session:

Quick portrait session...

Caroline, Mike and John needed to replace a picture of the three of them hanging in their parents living room which was taken a few years ago. It needed updating, but they also wanted something a little less "JC Penney-ish" (their words) and more laid back. We did this super quick, probably 10 minutes from start to finish.

Claire & Jeff - Engagement | Duluth, MN

As you can probably tell, Claire and Jeff's engagement session was timed to be on Lake Superior at sunset. Some great photo opportunities present themselves around this time of day, but it was a brisk 53 degrees out there. Full gallery here!

Jill & Tim - Engagement | Duluth

For Jill and Tim's engagement session we hit a couple locations. We started off at Brighton Beach, then Jill lead the way up seven bridges road, and then on a short hike to a particular stone bridge that crosses Lester Creek. At times I had the light stand set up IN the stream, praying that it wouldn't fall over, thus turning it into an expensive paper weight. We're pretty hard core when it comes to photography. :-) Full gallery here.
